The process is intended to meet the expectations outlined in the QAA UK Quality Code and in so doing, provide the University with a mechanism for assuring the continued quality and viability of its provision. This also provides an opportunity for the school and Course Team to critically reflect on the performance of a course or discipline, to make the case for its continuation, to assess its academic health and currency, and, if necessary to propose changes.
